I bought these from ebay about a month ago and I love them. A little tricky to install, even when using manufactures translated directions, but they look sweet. I ended up using a child's plastic knife to tuck the edges (console and rear seat panel pieces) and it worked great. I give it 5 out of 5 stars. Everyone I've shown it to can't believe they're not factory. I'll do my best to post some pics later this evening. edit: I ordered the ones with suede insides, all charcoal. I apparently can't leave a URL as a newbie, so just search for JDM luxury seat cover for a prius. they are legit!
Yes, it took me a better part of 2 hours though. The fit is soo good that it takes some good time to slip them on. Not to mention a little muscle. Good thing I work out. . ..
Very nice. Thanks for the photos. I thought they were probably the Clazzio leather covers, but I wasn't sure until you posted your photos. BTW, at least two other Chatters have installed the Clazzios with the smooth or perforated leather center panels. I'm one of the Clazzio cover installers in the "Clazzio" thread and I think your seats look great. I like them better then the factory leather seats and I've got nothing but good comments about them from people who have been in my car, including some car buffs and upholsterers who can't believe the fit and ease of installation.
I think those look great and I'm very interested...but I'm having difficulty finding them on eBay now...are they still available somewhere?
Keep an eye out. When I bought mine, I had all the options. They probably put a few auctions up every now and then. Another thing I noticed was about a $50 price difference in two seperate auctions. I paid $384.50 after shipping. Another auction I saw was going for $429 before shipping. I'm sure ebay isn't the only source, but it sure makes for a cheap and easy purchase.
Those are the nicest non-factory leathers I have seen, and every bit as nice as the factory jobs. (Price was excellent also) The suede would have to grow on me but my ever shedding dogs would love it. You did a top notch job with the installation. GT
