Looks like there are going to be a lot of disappointed people that are waiting for a Volt that looks like the prototype.
Did you buy the Prius for it's looks or b/c it was a hybrid? I would buy either one GM or Toyota (or other) depending on which was a plug-in and which got the most electric only range (with freeway speeds)...ect. Looks aren't that important to me.
According to The Wall Street Journal Market WAtch, GM released the photos to investors to ensure investors that the Volt was real and tangible. As a result, GM shares shot up 10%. http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/story.aspx?guid={CAA88751-374C-4631-AD0C-71C7C2695836}&siteid=rss "The company plans to have 50 prototype Volts completed by the end of the year" "GM plans to move the first Chevy Volts to dealer showrooms in November 2010, according to Peterson." I like it! . .
Looks aren't all that important to me either. However, reliability is VERY important. When you compare Toyota to GM ..... well, you get the point. There is simply no comparison relative to quality and reliability. ... Brad
