I have a Sprint Centro phone using the Palm operating system and I can't seem to get my Contacts to upload via Bluetooth to my Prius's Phonebook. I've mangaed to get the phone to pair with Bluetooth so I can make a call but can't get my contacts to upload. Can anyone please help. Thanks.
This is the method I used (as found on LetsTalk), but it transferred all of the numbers as "+1"...the names went over fine. Please let me know if you have any better success. http://toyota.letstalk.com/brands/toyota-bt/pdf/398_05Navi.pdf On the Steering Wheel Press the Off-Hook button On the Nav System 1. Select “Settings” 2. Select “Phonebook” 3. Select “Transfer Data” 4. Select desired Group5. Select whether you wish to “Add” or ”Overwrite” On the Phone 1. Select “Contacts” 2. Highlight any entry you wish to transfer 3. Press the “Menu” button 4. Under the “Record” menu, select “Send Contact” * or select “Send Category” 5. Select “Bluetooth”6. Select “Handsfree” 7. Select OK
I tried the procedure outlined above and it doesn't work. I called Toyota Customer relations last night and they walked me through it again and it doesn't work. When I select "Bluetooth" and then "HandsFree" it sudden says disconnecting and the car screen says transfer failed. I also don't know how to highlight my contacts in my Centro? I have 900 contacts all saved in one group in Outlook as Contacts on my Centro phone.
