Other threads mention a USB port built into the 2008 model. Where is it as I would like to hook up a card reader w/ an SD card for music?
An other of those secret compartment thingies? Will have to investigate when the owner, I mean the wife brings it home so I can steal a look at the book. Considering it's MY car and has damn near 9000K since the 2nd week of June. I've only driven it a handful of times. The wife uses it for work every day. I sure do miss it, I mean her, when it, ah she is gone!
Thanks. Let me know as I see the aux port in the main console compartment takes a regular plug similar to an IPod or PDA/phone or phone headphone jack. I want to see how I can listen to music from a SD card through a card reader or directly from my Treo 700p/MP3.

Not that I know of, but I haven't had a first hand look at a 2008. I would be surprised if they did have one, since that would mean a big change to the computer and programming, unless the feature has been there and not used. Tom
You can connect an MP3 player to the Aux audio port if the car is so equipped (I think it's Package 2 and higher). Same result, different approach
can only find references to a sd memory card slot on the JDM prius there is the ipod accessory cable no usb yet
