Japanese sources claim 1st appearance in April 2009. This time nicely before the bi-annual Tokyo Motor Show in autumn same year. Hence it will be strictly JDM (aka non-US non export). Another reason Honda is rushing to get their new compact hybrid into the market in early 2009.
Ummm I doubt it is. I mean the back is barely touched (really? If Toyota's going that route, that's worse than Porsche giving us an all-new 911 lol). As Ken said, I usually would give much credit to these sources. At least they got Toyota's target of 40km/L right lol.
japanese mags usually get a lot of info right on these scoops, especially since car will be introduced within 3-4 months from now... so thats why it would be good to get some info out...
I really hope this isn't what the car looks like... the front end is horrible, looks like it got chopped off at the windshield and pasted some other car's front end on it. I really hope toyota does a better redesign than that.
