how to change windshield wipers

    i cannot seem to get my old windshield wipers of my 04 pruis. i know im a moron for not being able to change them myself. is there a simple way of getting the old ones off i think i can figure out how to get the new ones on if i can get the old ones off.. thanks

    Ignore the Murano
    Lift arm, pivot blade. See plastic locking tab. squeeze it and slide blade down arm. move blade over and slide off arm. Install is reverse and easier.

    Change the inserts instead! It saves $10, wastes less material and is more difficult but is therefore more satisfying.

    Actually replace the whole blade with the new Bosch "Icon" or other constant pressure wiper blade. The blades are SIGNIFICANTLY better at cleaning the window and appear a little better (lower profile) for aerodynamics. (a little pricey though, about $20 each)
