It's funny.. I was in LA last Dec for a gallery opening and I hadn't been there for a couple of years. When we bought our Prius in spring '06, after waiting for it to come in for a couple of months, we were still fairly unique in Indy... On the trip to LA it was as if every other car were a Prius!! But of course now, even in Indy, they are everywhere. It's nice to see frugality and conservation become commonplace, but a little sad that there's NOTHING unique about owning one anymore. It's ok.. I have another car that will NEVER become commonplace.
i visited LA area ( venice beach / culver city ) in june this year and i can say that i was amazed to.... really a HELL OF LOT priusses
Yes in '04 and '05 not many , but the Carpool sticker added about 85,000 more and the gas prices over $4.00 added tons more....
Hey that's a great vid, good find! I think we have 12 to 15 in the whole city thus far. When I put down my deposit 8weeks back,w e didn't have any in this city! (Alright, I have no idea. I just know I couldn't find any while driving and now I see quite a few.)
