I'd imagine the dealer may have included the tint. These days, in barely inhabitable areas of the country (I live in Phoenix) dealers typically build tint into the price. At least that's how many of the dealerships work here. When I bought mine the question wasn't if I wanted tint or not, but "do you want limo on the back windows or just the standard". They gave me the option of getting it done during the pre-delivery or come back at a later time... I came back the next day. Mike
I don't know about most states... That doesn't sound right. For example, most SUV's have a limited amount of factory tint (although it's not a film). If what you said is accurate, there would be problems in those states.... but regardless, he's in AZ so he's good. Mike
Nope, you are so wrong. In most states, it just has to be less then the back. And in some states, that is not even the case.
The legal tint in Arizona is 35% on the front windows. I lived out there for 8 months last year when i had my Tundra. I had limo all around. I would pull up next to Maricopa Sheriff, Gilbert Police, Pinal Sheriff, Chandler PD, nothing would be said or done even with my windows up. In Arizona, just about every car has some sort of tint, even some cop cars that i've seen.
My Prius came with window tint. I am not sure what that guy was getting at. The fact is they put every money making option they can on these cars. they are selling as fast as they hit the lot.
Really? Do you know if California is one of those states?? I have melasma and use epiquin and retin-A and HAVE to stay out of the sun. I wonder if I could get one of those...
Yep, same here. For example, my other vehicle came with pretty dark windows factory as many SUV's do.... I have limo on top of the already very dark windows. I've had limo on every vehicle I've owned for the 16 years I've been driving. ...trust me, in the beginning years (when I was 16) I was pulled over *a lot* for speeding... never had anything mentioned about tint while pulled over. Arizona is probably the most tint friendly state there is.
