My Prius reached the age of 4 last week. I have plenty of data on my web page, but here are some of the highlights. Total Miles Driven = 47,277 (11,852 miles/yr) Average Mileage = 53.9 mpg Average Miles per Tank = 514 Average Gallons per Fillup = 9.54 Times Stopped for Gas = 92 $ Saved in Gas vs 25.0 mpg car = $2,512 Total maintenance cost = $552.81 Best Tank MPG = 60.8 Here's the mileage data. Note the drop off last spring - I got new tires (replaced with Integrity OEM) at the same time the 10% ethanol got added to the gas. Double whammy!
It looks like it doesn't get very cold where you are. Here near Toronto Canada our temperatures range from +33 to -33 - that's Celsius of course. Which ever way you measure it, it's a big range. Throw in a couple feet of snow every week or so and the mileage goes for a major dump. Thank goodness I can walk to work. Buck
