One of my favorite features of my current sirius unit, is that I can store songs on it. I use it everyday and I would hate to lose that. So I was thinking of buying the stiletto 2 and using that for my sirius unit. Has anyone else tried this combo? Where can I install it so that I can dock it and be able to access it if I'm going away?

I installed a TOYSC1 + SCVDOC installed in a 08 pkg 2. I do no know how your Sirius Stiletto2 plus in. I guess it just plug into the AUX port in the arm rest thus there is no need for the Sirius TOYSC1 + SCVDOC1 installation. The Sirius TOYSC1 + SCVDOC1 are hidden behind the dash and plug into the factory radio so you can use the MDF and steering wheel controls to run Sirius. I know that there are no places to plug anything into the TOYSC1 + SCVDOC1 besides the radio connection and antenna connection. There are other places on the back of the factory radio to plug into so if you could hook up to the radio from the back I would bet you could control it thru the MFD.

Plugging anything into the AUX port makes my ears bleed at this point. I haven't had the TSB done to the car to prevent the feedback.

I think you are mistaken, the SCVDOC1 is the universal dock and play controller that requires you to have a sirius plug and play unit installed. The SCC1 is the plain reciever which mounts hidden behind the glove box. Both allow you to control it through the MFD, I was looking to see if anyone had done with with the stiletto (which is meant to be portable).

Yes, this set-up will work with the Prius, my SO has a Stiletto 2 that works with mine. I use a Sportster 5 in it myself, just personal preference. Of note though, is the fact that when docked, the Stiletto 2 acts only as a tuner; the buttons do not function, you cannot rewind, save songs, etc. Everything is controlled through the MFD and it acts exactly like a factory installed satellite radio would. I have noticed that the Stiletto 2 tends to make some very strange, and sometimes very loud noises when it loses signal passing under bridges and such and it can be very unnerving if you are not used to it. The Sportster 5 does not seem to suffer this same anomaly though, it will simply go silent. I hope this helps.

You need the TOY-SC1 and the SCVDOC1. Mount the SCVDOC1 in the center console, the glove box, or the cubby below the radio. You won't need to have physical access to the Stiletto since the SCVDOC1 lets you interface the Stiletto with the touch screen and the steering wheel controls. A quick note: You have to have the JBL system for the above parts to work.

The only reason I would have went with the Stiletto would be to save songs. However losing this functionality gives me no reason for the extra expense over the TOYSC1 and the SCC1 combo. Thanks for saving me $300!!!!!!!

Dude, you are mistaken. The SCVDOC1 is what the Stilletto plugs into for full MFD integraton of a portable Sirrius tuner.
You got the SCC1 behind your dash. Your post is nothing but mis-information.

Help! I am trying to install the TOY-SC1. I've have the access to the back of the radio but the plug on the rider side of the radio is different than the plug on the TOY-SC1. Is this wire plug the correct plug?
The wire plug on the driver side of the radio looks different than the TOY-SC1 also; I'm stuck. I there a picture of the back of the radio showing exactly where the TOY-SC1 plugs into? Thanks
