Here's a website that I found the other day. Perfect for the serious Prius do-it-yourselfers. You can order everything from a complete engine, to doors, transaxle, etc. For those that aren't ready to drop in a new engine, it's kind of fun to browse through the parts catalog. Often there are illustrations, plus it gives you some idea what parts really go for (e.g. the 12V battery that dealers charge up to $300, lists for $147.36). Disclaimer: I have no relationship whatsoever with this site. I've never ordered from the site. I just happen to think it's interesting to browse, and thought I'd pass it along. Thanks, Shawn
I found it too,but after some playing with the site. If you check year before make,I got only Ford and Lincoln(if I remember?). But pick make first and then year and you can get to Prius.Maybe has something to do with using Foxfire browser?
worked fine for me with firefox.. i picked year first, then model. i believe it was Toyota, GMC, and Pontiac.. which is gmc... possibly just a navigation fluke? probably. happens to all of us. good site though. may be very useful.
Oh, brother. Yeah, could be. I'm using Foxfire too. And I have no time to bother with badly designed web sites. There are too many compatibility "lint" filters out there that can detect problems with bad HTML that there's no excuse for a webmaster to put out buggy pages that only work with IE. Bookmark stays deleted. No sale.
hehe.. the first thing i was going to say is that it's poorly designed.. but didn't want to scare people away from it.
