Has anyone done any appearance modifications? What did ya do? What do you wanna do? Gimme some ideas. 8)
How about a big wing? From my friend Animal over at Spyderchat - [Broken External Image]:http://www.mr2spyders.com/banner001.jpg
Spoiler Speaking of wings. What in the world is the purpose of the spoiler on the Prius? I wonder if the drag coefficient would be improved if it were not there.
Would you believe it? I've driven my car for 7 weeks, over 4800 miles and didn't take a good look at the back end until after I posted a comment about the spoiler. Old age or polluting emissions from non-hybrid cars must have gotten to the few brain cells I have left. There's no spoiler.
Getting back to the topic, I saw a Tidepool Pearl Prius yesterday with the plastic rings removed from the wheels, and the wheels chromed. At the recent LA Auto Show, there was a Prius at the Toyota display with 16-inch wheels. Appearance-wise, it's a definite improvement over the standard wheels. They were the same wheels displayed on Toyota's Japanese website: http://www.toyota.co.jp/company/prius/en/ [Broken External Image]:http://www.toyota.co.jp/company/prius/en/image/live3_03.jpg
Windows Tinting... ...Please go to this thread for a couple of my pics... http://priuschat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=306 The tint is 35% Total Cost was $159. Here in Texas with it's extreme temperatures, the tinting helps. Tony
Window tint, rear lamps Darkest I've seen so far on a Prius, but that's because FL allows pretty dark stuff. Tint - http://www.vfaq.com/Prius/mods/MyCarTint.html Lamps - http://www.vfaq.com/Prius/mods/Lights.html I plan on lowering the car about 1", if I can ever get a Japan contact for the Modellista springs, or Eibach or Intrax ever email me back about using my car for prototypes.
i've taken a chance, being in CA, and tinted ALL the windows about 22% using solar gard true grey...on wednesday we install leather accented with my own tie-dyed leather and then, and then...i'll keep reading this board for more suggestions, like the ev button, which is way beyond me but who knows. i'd like chromed wheels...hmmm.
