Is the start button supposed to have a green light??

    Just wondering, when I boot my car (heh heh, never thought I'd say that!) the light in the Start button comes on amber for a few seconds, and then it goes off completely.

    Is it supposed to switch from amber to green? Seems like I've seen pictures online with a green light.

    the light goes off a few seconds after you start the car. It's green in ACC mode and amber in IG-ON mode.

    One of the updates caused my green-while-running light to stop being green. Others noticed it too...

    wait wait wait, is the light on the start buttoin supposed to be on (green) while the car is on?

    Cause I had no work done on my Prius and I don't recall the light staying on while driving

    Well, if you have an '05, you would have all the updates already, no work needed, I assume.

    No.

    If the light is green, you're in ACC (accesory) mode.

    When the car is in READY mode the light is supposed to be off.
