richard: a local museum that is only a block away from my apartment has offered everyone in my building (8 units) to park free in their secure parking structure free for a month until they catch the arsonist. i think i will be leasing a space from them after that, just for my own peace of mind. flying dutchman: yes, absolutely.
Zooey, This is great news about the offer from the Museum. I hope that Toyota is able to get you a new Prius right away without having to wait an unusuallly long period of time. How very sad that someone has to stoop this low to set cars on fire. They obviously have nothing better to do with their time. Maybe if they catch them they can send them to Iraq or Afganistan and see if they enjoy setting cars on fire over there. :fear: Bunch of stupid cowards. Probably a group of idiot teenagers. Bravo to Corporate Toyota for responding on this site and for stepping up and getting this situation evaluated quickly. This lets the rest of us breathe easier knowing that the Prius is still a very safe car.
Maybe they will finally respond to some of our complaints about the lack of adjustability on the seats. Zooey, I am really sorry about your loss. I hope you find another one without too much of a wait. G
