Ont. PST Rebate in Four Weeks!

    We purchased our 2006 Prius (it was a US Toyota Exec. car) May 28/08. We received our approval letter on Fri., and today received our PST rebate. Quite pleased as we thought it would take much longer. Maybe the Ont. government is trying to win brownie points.

    I managed to get the Ontario rebate in 3 weeks. Does anyone know how long the feds take?

    Bought my Prius at the beginning of April '08. In BC, the PST rebate is deducted at purchase, so it's immediate.

    The ecoAuto rebate was a little slower. :) I sent all the documentation to the federal government the day after driving my new Prius home, and I didn't get the ecoAuto rebate until the third week of June. So .... it took about 10 or 11 weeks.
