I'm at the point (or near) where I'm going to say g'bye to my van and get something eco-fuel-size friendly. I do have back problems; problems provoked by getting a corolla a few years back. The prii and the corollas seem to have pretty similar seat/steering wheel placements. So I need to really make sure it will work for me. So, I want to rent a prius for a day or three. Hoping somebody knows who might have one to rent in the neighborhood (Tacoma). --Matthew
I rented one from Hertz last month in the Seattle area. Had to call thier 800 number to reserve a Prius as I could not find a way to specify a car model online. also, weekend rates were better than weekday.
I rented one in May from Hertz also. I was able to reserve it online as well. Also, Burien Toyota was renting them as recently as May though their rental fee was a few dollars more than Hertz. I called all of the South Sound Toyota Dealers and Burien was the only one renting them at the time.
