what are "nominations"?

    I just noticed that by everyone's signature there is a "nominated _ times in _ posts" or some such wording and a "TOTM" awards.

    Did I miss the memo? What does this mean?:confused:

    This is new, I have never seen it before. Although, maybe it was always there and I never noticed it? You can nominate someone's post by hitting the button to the right of the quick reply button. It has a piece of paper and pen with a gold award on it. Hmmm!

    Nice addition. Perhaps should go in the "sticky" group so it's easy to find?

    I've just withdrawn all of mine, (very easy to find on the Topic of the month thread). Once you withdraw them they disappear.

    I won't be participating anymore.
