yeah.. i'm payed well.. but not well enough to keep the job all that long. it does make a good part time job though.

If it didn't use my own car for work.. i would not drive my car all that much. I would.. but not close to 200 a day. more like 200 a week.

Well, I guess I have. My Prius has done precisely 1km and I have put 0 litres in, so that makes a REALLY HIGH MPG.

Actually, I have just purchased a new 2005 one week ago and take delivery of it next Tuesday so I am really rather excited. The 1km is what is showing up on my registration papers that arrived this evening.

The Prius is really only just starting to come onto the radar screen in New Zealand and they are very rare so they are still real headturners , which is cool.

We have only two options - standard and I-Tech (comes with everything).

I picked up my '05 on October 16th, 2004. I have just under 7,000 miles, which seems like a lot to me.

I've got 27800 miles now, had the car since Oct '03. I drive 36 miles one way to work now, and probably now 20k miles per year.

'04 delivered August 9th. I have 17K miles on it so far, so that's 2400 miles per month. Seems a bit low. I put on about 550-600 miles a week. I have a 50 mile trip to work each day, 50 miles back.

My 2001 Prius just got totaled after my daughter rearended a car stopped below the top of a hill for a dear. At the time of the Prius' death, it had 181,500 miles on it. We bought it in late August, 2000.

    :(

But on the bright side, I guess it means that we are going to have to buy a 2005 Prius

I got mine August 13 and just had the 10k service. 900 mi of that is driving the car home from Helena. I typically put abut 20k on a car a year. I am driving back to Helena in May to see my son graduate. My wife wants to take the old Explorer because of the passes and weather, we shall see what the gas prices are like by then. They seem to be rising and I am glad I don't drive a diesel it was 2.76 a gallon when I filled up last night.
