I just wanted to introduce myself. I absolutely love my new black prius. Unfortunately, I found that someone had keyed my bumper already. There are a ton of prius in Seattle. You'd think I'd be save here, but I guess not. :mmph:
^^^^^ Sorry to hear about someone "keying" your new car !! That's horrible...especially if it was truly intentional. Probably just a jealous hater....
There is something about a new car that screams "Scratch me, bump into me, ding me!!!" It is as if there is a flashing sign over the vehicle that only others can see. Mine also received some unfortunate marks from a passerby
at least it was on your bumper and not the metal panels of the car. you don't have to worry about rust. how pathetic people are.
I bought my 2004 prius and it looked new. Everyone at work asked me how I could afford a new car, and they were shocked when I told them it was new. But I have these two dings on the door, it looks like it was on purpose but I will never know. I was parked at home of all places, and when I walked out the dings were there (driver's side rear door). Down to the damn primer paint. I bought some of that touch up paint, but it's a lighter color than the car. I even matched it at the dealer (supposedly). Now I think it looks almost worse.
