I have put on about 15,000 on my 04 11 mo. ago. I have seen some that are at 30,000. Their are some of you who are trying to catch up fast so Lets also Ask How many mile per month are you averaging So I'm Avg. 1300 mo.
i average about 3,000 - 5,000 miles a month. lately it's been more around 5,000. I'm currently at 23,000 or 24,000
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(V8Cobrakid\";p=\"68972)</div> It was yours that got me thinking of this. very high ave. 5,000 a month that would be 60,000 a yr. wow
yeah.. i'm payed well.. but not well enough to keep the job all that long. it does make a good part time job though. If it didn't use my own car for work.. i would not drive my car all that much. I would.. but not close to 200 a day. more like 200 a week.
Well, I guess I have. My Prius has done precisely 1km and I have put 0 litres in, so that makes a REALLY HIGH MPG. Actually, I have just purchased a new 2005 one week ago and take delivery of it next Tuesday so I am really rather excited. The 1km is what is showing up on my registration papers that arrived this evening. The Prius is really only just starting to come onto the radar screen in New Zealand and they are very rare so they are still real headturners , which is cool. We have only two options - standard and I-Tech (comes with everything). Brent Christchurch, New Zealand, RED 2005 I-Tech
Well Brent. Welcome, from San Jose, California. there are hundreds of Prius in this area. Kinda crazy.. kinda cool. hope you have fun with your prius.
Thanks V8... Just finding my way through all the interesting stuff lots of you have already experienced. I will be able to be more productive in my comments in future - LOL.
I picked up my '05 on October 16th, 2004. I have just under 7,000 miles, which seems like a lot to me.
I've got 27800 miles now, had the car since Oct '03. I drive 36 miles one way to work now, and probably now 20k miles per year.
21, 000 miles and 2 weeks away from my one-year anniversary. What to get a one-year old Prius....hmmm....
'05 delivered 9/29/04 11,459 miles... I use it about 1 day every other week, but it has gone to the west coast twice....
'04 delivered August 9th. I have 17K miles on it so far, so that's 2400 miles per month. Seems a bit low. I put on about 550-600 miles a week. I have a 50 mile trip to work each day, 50 miles back.
I have a customer that had his Prius for 2 weeks and was in for his first oil change (5000). I hope he is on priuschat I would like to know what he is at now. Finman I think I will get her a DVD player.
I bought mine at the end of November 2003. I currently have a little over 43,000 miles on the odometer.
My 2001 Prius just got totaled after my daughter rearended a car stopped below the top of a hill for a dear. At the time of the Prius' death, it had 181,500 miles on it. We bought it in late August, 2000. But on the bright side, I guess it means that we are going to have to buy a 2005 Prius :?
I got mine August 13 and just had the 10k service. 900 mi of that is driving the car home from Helena. I typically put abut 20k on a car a year. I am driving back to Helena in May to see my son graduate. My wife wants to take the old Explorer because of the passes and weather, we shall see what the gas prices are like by then. They seem to be rising and I am glad I don't drive a diesel it was 2.76 a gallon when I filled up last night.
Deer me! Sorry about your car! Hope your daughter is okay! The 2005 model is a great car... I'm sure you'll love it!
