Thinking of striping my Super White Touring when it FINALLY arrives. I could only find the standard for a template and used TRD for s&g. I don't think the decal company will go for that but it would really get people wondering if they would let me print it! Likes, dislikes and suggestions welcome.
. That's pretty cool. I like the top one best(red/black). Wondering if it would look better in the opposite direction though. Check out my pics(link in my signature). I added a pretty blatent side graphic -got it here Post pics when you get 'em on! .
I am also liking the top much better too. I like yours too! Both seem to do what I wanted..take some of the slab out of the side. I also like the idea of the reverse..gonna mock that up and post it also. Thank you for your input.
I like the top better too but the green might be nice if it also went black>green>white like the red does. I never cared for white cars. They always look like blank commercial cars to me and your idea is much nicer than standard pin striping.
I like both your stripe ideas. If it's possible can you re-do them with the fade running towards the back? I leaning more towards the green one as I think it would better accent my Sliver Green Pica.
I like the stripe. The red looks best, or maybe another shade of green. But, why the TRD? It reminds me of all the "Type R" badges that high school kids stick on everything from garden variety civics to mom's Accord. Why not incorporate "Prius" into the stripe. or "hybrid"? I have the Priuschat "Prius" logo on mine, and I've thought of adding a fadeout black stripe from the logo forward. Just my .02. There are so many plain vanilla Prius on the road, that the car is like a blank canvas. Have fun with it.
In Grays Harbor, there is a white Prius with a painted on sunshine yellow strip in the divot on the sides. It's cute. Really. In a "I did it myself!" kind of way. I think the OP's will look nice.
I was thinking that I would maybe vinyl decal or paint my car to look like a wood-paneled car (woody). Those available out there somewhere?
Good gawd...not me - just answering the question! I like my Prius just the way it came...the only thing I've done to mine in my 2 weeks of ownership is to add Exact Mats (front, rear and cargo).
