Re: Geneva car show Cadillac looks an awful lot like a Prius When you suspend a cubic block of paraffin in a fluid (stream of water), the block takes on a fusiform shape - the most slippery. Hence, if Cadillac is on the right path, their vehicles should appear like a Prius.

Re: Geneva car show Cadillac looks an awful lot like a Prius Road noise would be a bitch. The inside of it would be like a greenhouse during summer (even with tint). Skin cancer here we come! A side intrusion would wipe it out and gooyfy anyone inside it. It would be damned cold during winter. Not many people want the world to see that much of them EVERY time they drive. What a dumb arsed idea... I put money on the fact that this design would not sell.
The Italian designer's web site is now available so you can find out more about this car. http://www.bertone.it/en/villa_villa_en.htm And the sides ARE glass -- laminated -- like windshields. But in the fine print at the end of the web site it says that they have decided not to go into production because some guy in San Diego, CA threatened to drive in it naked. And here's a better picture that seems to me to be pure Prius in overall shape. I showed it to my wife and she said "Why did they do that to the Prius?" I love the way they talk about the wonderful overall design and how much work it took to come up with it and how wonderful it is etc. etc... But then we knew that when Toyota came up with it first.
Cadillac: Finally, a car where you must wear pants. (Why does it look like it was built for crash-test dummies?) Honestly, the things I've seen in my rear-view mirror during the morning commute -- people brushing teeth, clipping their nosehairs, and putting on pants. I kid you not.
