Re: The Volt Killa' for fun, kinda... the plate is normally flat against the bumper and would partly stonewall airflow, and the bottom no longer blocks the grille. to take a page from Front & Rear License Plate Accessories :: Sigma Automotive Enhance Aerodynamics - Instead of hitting oncoming winds head-on, front license plate tilts forward and diverts wind at a downward angulation. This reduces drag coefficient & improves mileage. Did you know that at highway speeds, 60% of the energy goes to push air out of the way? Toyota designed their Prius into a bullet-shape to offset the extra-heavy batteries so that it still shines in the fuel economy department. So putting an upright front license plate really throws all their aerodynamic research & design off the window. Our license plate bracket is a good first step to minimize this problem. Enhance Performance - Depending on your front grille location, they may facilitate radiator cooling and enhance vehicle performance.
Re: The Volt Killa' orange brake: vinyl "eyelids" Before: After: more pics to follow: shaved passenger fender HYBRID emblem and hatch TOYOYA/PRIUS emblems
you know how cellphone companies are trying to release their own "iPod killer"? recently cut out some "eyelids" from vinyl stickers...
Re: The Volt Killa' I would advise against that. What happens if the side curtain airbag deploys and you have your GPS mounted in the way? I wouldn't want to take a GPS in the teeth at 200 mph.
Re: The Volt Killa' I don't understand putting all this "racing" stuff on the worlds most fuel efficient hybrid car. Also with all the tail light tinting stuff, if I ever accidently rear-ended you because you basically hid your tail lights, I'd sue you for everything in the world. Don't intentionally make your car more dangerous to other people.
Car's looking good! Its been a while since I've been on site, but I'll be creating a Prius Overlay Gallery on my site in the next few days! Will def add your overlays pics . B@tâ„¢
