I would love to have your input as I want to buy some new music and open my horizons a bit! My input: Euge Groove: any of his albums are great! Dire Straits: Best of Your turn! and thanks! :cell:
I like Lenny Kravitz for driving. It's upbeat to counteract my tendency to want to fall asleep in the car. (That and Cokes)
ah. Im disapointed! nobody else has special car music that I should look into? and no Im not high maintenance. Just wish I was!
Not sure what you mean by "car music". The stuff I listen to would certainly put you to sleep, as it is New Age instrumental or could be called Contemporary Instrumental. (I like music from "The Well" and "Night Crossings", both are public radio shows, one in California, the other in Kansas) I also listen to Eros Rammazoti, who has a huge European following, but it's mostly in Italian language. I'm quite partial to Crazy by Chantal Chamandy at the moment. Hakim and Tres Mundos have some pretty peppy and energetic music.
. How about a Sirius? Then you have SO many choices! A good band for sing-along driving music is Armor for Sleep -Dream to Make Believe .
Love it. I was excited to get XM radio in my baby 'cause there's a Led Zeppelin 24/7 station...only to find out it's currently off air. Bummer, but it is supposed to return later this year. In the meantime "Top Tracks" on channel 46 will have to do.
There's already a thread about this. In case you're not the type who likes to click links, here's the driving mix I made: Drive My Car -- The Beatles I'm In Love With My Car -- Queen Cars -- Gary Numan Always Crashing In The Same Car -- David Bowie Car Bomb -- Negativland Fast Car -- Tracy Chapman Brand New Cadillac -- The Clash Don't Push Your Foot On The Heartbrake -- Kate Bush Chevy Van -- Sammy Johns Hot Rod Lincoln -- Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen Race Car Ya-Yas -- Cake Truckin' -- Grateful Dead Speed Racer -- Devo Roadrunner -- The Modern Lovers Road To Nowhere -- Talking Heads Take The Long Way Home -- The Bloodhound Gang Highway 61 Revisited -- Bob Dylan Convoy -- C.W.
