I got on the waiting list at Toyota of Sunnyvale on June 15th for $150 off MSRP. Quote for touring #6 with the floor matts out the door is $32330 (TTL + $55 doc fee). No dealer prep, customer service fees, or any other bull.

Wait time was quoted approximately 8 weeks. They claim they get about 90 Prius's a month. I started at #184 on the list.

I'm running a spreadsheet with a couple of dealers' online inventory so I can see how fast they really are working throught the waiting list. But they are only selling 8 or 10 per month so it's pretty easy to keep track of the comings and goings. If you have any doubt about how fast the list really is working down I dthink it's the best way, though.

Just put a $500 deposit down at Capitol Toyota for a Blue Mica #4. Wait is estimated to be 8 weeks. I am #85 on the list and they get approx 40 per month.

Hansel Toyota (Petaluma, Ca) is advertising Prius in stock and available.

Prices options haven't a clue, recieved a call from a friend that they have radio ads and the large lighted billboard says Prius's in stock for imediate delivery.

    eclipse3g,

They seem to be just trickling in here on the east coast. I don't know of any dealer in my area who gets more than 10 NEW Priuses a month. Of course I don't know any volume or big city dealers either. Just recently however, a local dealer advertised "55 Priuses ready for immediate delivery" in a TV ad. Only thing was, at the end of the ad they said "hurry on down before all the 2007's are gone". They are all ex-rental BASE units having from about 12,000 miles to 36,000 miles on them going for from around $28,000 to $33,000 (big time rip-offs for base units). I wonder if the ones ready for sale at Hansel are like this or NEW.

kind of off topic, but i just wanted to mention that the free downtown parking in downtown san jose is still on. the stickers cost $30 and the scheduled expiration date is june 2009, but you have to actually buy the car in san jose
and you do not need HOV stickers to quailify
i figure parking the prius at the 4th street garage for 2 days @ 7 hours a day
    would pay for the fee
