The sun visors are too small and the windshield is too high making it difficult to drive into the setting sun. Any way to add some tinting or darkening that won't compromise safety and yet reduce the glare?
Maybe something like this would work for you: http://www.ecarboutique.com/accessories/item.asp?ITEM_ID=610&DEPARTMENT_ID=98
I had a tint strip installed on the windshield that goes down approximately 6" from the top. I had it done it a medium tint by a window tint shop. It works perfectly and looks excellent IMO. From theoutside it looks just like every other car with a factory tinted glass. Cost $40.
we were going to have the eyebrow tint applied but the guy told us that the film wouldnt adhere properly where those sensors are behind the rearview mirror. i am interested in that shade extender though. probably order one.
no it didnt for me either but i googled a visor shade and found one similar to it. i ordered it and it should be here in a few days. http://www.visorshade.com/CarVisor.jpg
All I know is my tint strip goes all the way across the windshield, extends downward approx. 6" and looks perfect from the inside or outside. Cost me $40 for the tint shop to do it. I did it medium dark and it solved the glare problem people complain about. The added benefit being from the exterior it looks factory.
