I just did a quick autotrader.com search. Foothills in Burlington "says" they have 14 in stock. Magic claims to have some as well. Icarus
The dealer websites will often list cars in stock, however if you call them you'll find that all the cars are spoken for....
Re: Waiting in Seattle/Costco Pricing congrats on your purchase!! i also found that estimated waiting periods mean nothing. when the list is that long, buyers 2nd guessing is a huge unquantified factor. i got mine from Toyota of Olympia (both of mine in fact) and they first told me 8-12 weeks as well. but as luck would have it, my first choice for package and color came up. two people who also had the same first choice as me, backed out, and more than a dozen rejected the package option. so i got mine in less than 2 weeks.
Got one reserved for us in last week's allocation! Still on ship, due to arrive at dealership in 2 to 3 weeks. We wish short wait times and good outcomes to everyone else waiting for thier Prius!
An update on Downtown Seattle Toyota: I was still on their waiting list even though I picked up my Prius from Bremerton on 6/11. Got a call on Wed, June 25th from Seattle. They had two package 3's coming in from Portland, one grey, one blue. My mother-in-law decided she needed to keep her gas-guzzling Caddy and turned the opportunity for a Prius down! So two more people got to move up the list. So, their estimate of a one-month wait was right on, for anyone still waiting or needing to place an order. If you can, placing deposits with multiple dealers (Seattle didn't even take money, just a copy of my DL), can result in getting your car a lot sooner. Just make sure they're refundable and be open to color choices! I don't see many Driftwood Pearls around, and it doesn't seem to be a popular choice, so maybe that's how I got mine so quick.
Picked up our Spectra Blue Mica Touring pkg 6 this morning! MSRP less Costco discount. Our experience with Bob Bridge Toyota in Renton WA was first rate, no hassles, excellent customer service by John Stone and team. Our wait was 7 weeks (May 24 - July 12). We were quoted 1 to 4 months when we put our $500 down in May.
I can't believe it - a friend of ours was able to pick up a package #2 that someone rejected at MSRP. Now of course the dealer should have called down the list, ahem, but didn't, so our friends are happy! They told me that while looking last week, they saw some dealers with used cars just sitting on the lot, but they were asking $2,000 above MSRP.
A week before our SBM Pkg 6 touring was allocated, we were told about a red pkg 6 touring that might be offered to us; we were, at the time, #3 in line for a touring. Person #1 wanted a pkg 5 and person #2 a different color; #2 decided to take red. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that our dealer was being honest about sticking to the list and interested in making sure people were taken care of, in the order the deposits were taken. Also, I saw no evidence that cars were being sold off the lot after being turned down by the 1st person. When cars were allocated, they would work down the Prius waiting list and, if necessary, trade to fulfill waiting list orders.
