looking for help --- I ordered the BT skid plate on June 3, 2008 and was notified on June 4, 2008 that the plate would be shipped within 2 weeks, Well it is past that time and I have written Prius shop 3 time requesting an update on my shipment. They will not respond. is there anyone that can help. My credit card was charged on Jun 3, 2008. I want the plate but getting very frustrated with a complete lack of customer service. Thanks for any assistance.
Suprised to hear that, I have ordered twice and both transactions were smooth and no issues at all. I am sure that they will get this resolved for you.
I can not speak for the Prius Chat shop but I can tell you that all of our backorders for the BT Tech Skid Plates and BT Tech Strut Tower Braces will be shipping within the next week. If you have any questions regarding these products please let me know.
gussom1 - maybe some parts were on backorder, but from my conversations with brian @ BT TECH, he's a very nice person, my best guess is not to worry, the part has been on backorder and you should receive yours shortly. cheers
I just send Danny an email and he gets back to me within a day. I get better response to emails than PMs on PC.
Brian, thanks for responding. It sounds like that covers this customer's question. We're taking a look into why our email response didn't make it to you. I know that we've been having some trouble with emails for one reason or another since the server migration last month.
Thanks for all of the responses. I finally heard back on the skid plate, it's supopose to come in somtime this week. I am looking forward to getting it, the installation, the way it looks and any changes to the car. I will post my results. Thanks again for eveyone's help.
Yeah, it also bugs me that they charge your credit card before shipping, or even having the product, on-hand. Every other site I've ever done business with, if a product was back-ordered, they only charged the card as soon as the product was being shipped. I ordered my Skid Plate on the 19th. I hope BT Tech included my order in the "all back-orders will be shipped in the next week" statement. Haven't heard anything from them yet, though.
My experience with the Prius Shop has been very good. I ordered a set of Exact Mats from the Prius Shop on 6/14. They don't accept credit cards, so I mailed a check to them on Monday 6/16. I received a reply on 6/19 that the order had been sent to the supplier. I received my mats this afternoon. I will pick up my Prius at the dealer tomorrow morning. AND my check has not cleared my account yet, so evidently they did not deposit my check until the order was shipped. I just got the front and rear mats. I plan to order the cargo mat immediately.
I wanted to provide everyone with an update regarding both our BT Tech Skid Plate and BT Tech Strut Tower Brace. We will be receiving our Strut Tower Braces on Monday and will begin shipping them out immediately. Those of you that have placed your order will be receiving your UPS tracking number to the email address that you provided when you placed your order. Our BT Tech Skid Plates will arrive late next week due to a delay with the powdercoater. Once we receive them, they will ship out immediately and we will provide all orders with a UPS tracking number. Thanks everyone for your patience!!
so it wasnt a problem with Danny and the PC shop, it was BT tech and that slow powder coater! BT, be sure to wag a finger at that guy!
Disagree. If PC Shop is charging credit cards that far in advance of shipping, that is a PC Shop problem!:car:
It's actually a PayPal problem. Because we accept PayPal through the PC Shop, we're at their whim on how they charge cards, and they charge them immediately. There's no option for delayed charging.
Just want to throw in my two cents, for what its worth. My experience with both the Prius Shop & BT Tech was excellent! I placed my order for the BT Tech Chassis Stiffening Plate last Sunday, and received it in 3 days. Even paid using PayPal. The plate came carefully protected in bubble wrap, and I was able to install it with absolutely no issues. I contacted Brian to let him know how pleased I was with both the craftsmanship and how quickly my package was delivered. I'm planning on purchasing the Strut Tower Brace this next month. Keep up the good work Brian!
along these lines, I have for two weeks been emailing priusshop and bt tech about my upper strut bar having zero clearance and have no reply whom does one contact?
