Hi all, I got myself a unit that override lockouts on prius navigation systems. It also comes with a unit that allows the user to hookup any dvd player or tv tuners with AV outputs. I would like to know if there are any DIY instructions on how to remove the center counsel/ navigation on this site. Thanks for all your help.
search it. There are plenty of topics on that. May I ask, what is the brand and model of the unit. In short: 1. remove driver vent on the left (pry it with hands) 2. remove bottom driver dash by first taking couple of screws 3. remove upper driver dash 4. remove driver vent on the right (pry it with hands) 5. remove bottom center cover (not necessar, if you need more space to wok, it is) 6. remove passenger left vent 7. remove MFD (take screws and then pry it with hands) YES YOU HAVE REMOVE THE WHOLE DASHBOARD TO GET TO IT
The brand is Beat Sonic. It's from Japan. There's an ebay seller selling the kits for other cars. But he does have prius units if you inquire.
