    Yes the current model has a belt drive CVT something like the transmission in a 50cc scooter on steroids. The electric motor/generator in the Civic it on the flywheel. When the electric motor is turning so is the ICE.

    For having taste? The new Altima, the 350Z and the Infiniti G37 are beautiful cars. Styling is not one of Toyota's best features.
