Thank you! I Bought it at Greens in lexington. Yeah, I may go back to using the wheel trims - especially if I grind a curb, they would be helpful. But I do want to try the center cap first still! .
This was the demo they had for sale correct? I emailed them about 2 months ago and a salesman named Derek told me he would email me when it was available, then I see pictures on Autotrader. But I already ordered a Prius from another dealership, think I like the magnetic gray color better, although the spectra blue looks great. How was the dealership?
Yes, this was a Toyota demo, according to Glenn, my salesman. 5,000 miles at purchase. I really wanted a brand new black but they had none and the pre-owned status gave me the 100,000 mile certified warranty. I like the blue too so said yes(best of both worlds I was thinking)! What did you know about it when you were looking? All seems to be well so far. the dealership was good. Glenn could have been a little sharper/cleaner about himself, but I'm a perfectionist, so... I really liked Mark the GM in finance and that older woman (on a crutch at the time). Overall, very nice staff and hospitable dealership (imo) More pics are up.
Well, when I was looking for a Toyota 4Runner. I had emailed them about a used 4Runner they had in stock. I got a response via email from a guy named Derek, I guess he does the internet part of the sales, and he told me about a used 4Runner and that it was so nice, and that it was priced just right and that if it didnt sell after the upcoming weekend that is manager was going to buy it. Well I didnt come look at the 4Runner and thought nothing about it, then about 2 weeks later, I noticed a 4Runner that looked exactly like it at a dealership thats about an hour away from me (The 4Runner is a rare dark blue, limited, v8, 4x4, not your everyday SR5). After getting the VIN I came to the conclusion that it was the 4Runner from Greens Toyota and they must have done a dealer trade. I know the guy was just trying to sell a car, but I don't think its right to lie to your customers like that. Funny thing about it is that I bought the 4Runner at the other dealership, and currently drive it as I wait for my Prius. When I was in the market for a Prius I emailed all the dealerships around and asked them if they had any Touring package 6 Prius in stock. Derek told me that they had a 2008 spectra blue that was touring and package 6. He wrote "The Prius will come out of loaner service May 5th. We may be able to work figures before then and actually put you in the vehicle in mid april." I figured that I would get an email from him in mid April, but on April 9th I ordered a magnetic gray prius instead from Kenny Kent in Evansville. I am glad that you are happy with the car, it looks great. I sent an email to Derek after I saw the Prius was no longer listed on Autotrader, but I have not received a response, shocker!
Yeah, shocker! Glen at Greens was funny. Saying things like, "see that salesman over there? He's waiting for you to say no so he can sell this Prius to his customer at sticker..." I had to laugh at that one.
Yeah, I wouldn't doubt that he would have tried that. I have had a couple of dealerships try to sell me a demo or loaner car with 4 or 5 thousand miles at sticker price. They say "they are in demand, I can't go down" I say "I can't buy then."
Yeah. I wasn't falling for that. Got it under sticker + perks! 1% of me wishes I held out for a brand, brand new model, but I keep telling myself the cheaper cost and extended warrenty make up that 1%.
Groovy graphics! Is it the same both sides... or different? Seems there are other graphics in the other shots? Oh, nice LEDs too.
