How much is 1 gal of gas in your area.

I paid $4.599 a couple of days ago in Prius Central, aka Palo Alto, CA

 

Eastern Oregon: regular 87 octane $4.20, premium 92 octane $4.40, diesel $4.85.

 

Gas in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area is hanging in at $4.09 for regular. We have the reformulated gas here which makes the cost go up.

 

Marietta, GA in mertro Atlanta. Yesterday, 06/18/2008, @ 2 different BP's, one was $3.999 another was $$4.059. Higher in Atlanta.

 

The Arco was open tonight. Drove by about 6:30 pm. Regular still at $4.53.

 

I'm visiting Dillingham, Alaska, and I didn't think ya'll would believe me, so I took a picture:

 

It makes sense, any refineries up there?

Even now, the areas closest to refineries have traditionally had slightly better prices. It costs to move gas anywhere.

There's a refinery at Nikiski, about three hours drive South from Anchorage. That's still a good way from here. Gasoline is shipped into this town twice each year on barges at considerable expense. When the second barge comes before winter, the price will go up again.

 

I don't even know. I haven't been to the pumps in awhile. HAHAHA

 

Actually went down from 4.09 to 4.07 today.

so prices can drop again hahahahahahaha

 

If they do drop, it will only be temporarily.

As I don't need either of the other 2 octanes, I don't even register their prices; it makes me really ill.

 

Paid 156.9 cents per litre today but a lot of outlets had put prices up to 169.9 cents per litre and I suspect the others will have bumped up prices by now. Prices fall slowly till next Wednesday then jump again.

 

It doesn't matter what the supply is right now. The Market is being driven by speculators.

 

In Italy the national consumption of fuel went down by 15%

 

I filled up this morning for $3.97 in Gurnee, IL.

This is the station though, that raises their prices every Thursday afternoon and drops them on Monday morning.

I'm sure that the fact that they are a few hundred yards from the entrance to Six Flags Great America and the closest gas station to the tollway has nothing to do with that...:suspicious:

 

On my way to work this morning, prices ranged from 3.99 to 4.17. And that is in a 12 mile distance. The lowest and the highest prices were at Sunoco stations. Explain that.
