Waiting in Boston

    Hi Folks, Just placed a deposit on a 2008 Prius hatchback, package 2 at a South Shore Dealership. Curious to see what color i end up with and how long. Go Celtics!

    Hopefully it's not with the same dealership that takes your deposit money, and then list's their available Prii on e-bay.

    With the waiting lists for a Prius, I'm begining to wonder how many enterprising dealerships in the country have started to collect deposit money from people looking for a Prius with the intent to hold onto their money for as long as possible in an interest bearing account :(

    It's amazing to see that in the few months after I bought my 2008 Prius in a package and color that I wanted, there are now waiting lists, etc. I got my Prius from Herb Chambers Toyota in Boston, ordered it on Monday got it on Thursday.

    Hey DB, I did go to that Weymouth dealership first, they offered me 2500- 3000 less for my trade than the dealer in Hanover who we have bought from before. Must be tough living in Birmingham Al,, eh Daisey? We all know you have such wonderful schools of higher learning and great pro...oh no pro sports? no wonder your miserable :)
