Ideas for Bumper Sticker?

    OK, I'm from metro Detroit and there are quite a few "Out of a job yet?, Keep buying foreign" bumper stickers. I think the UAW gives them out.

    I'm trying to think of an answer to them, something like--Out of money yet, Keep buying gas.

    Any ideas?

    Actually, I would consider buying a domestic car if there was a sedan that got over 45-50 mpg. I keep hearing that there might be a Hybrid Ford Fusion but it's too late for me. (The FEH/MMH is a great vehicle, I just don't want a SUV). I so love my Prius! :)

    Honestly with tensions building regarding the price of fuel I think your comedic bumper sticker may piss some people off. People are suffering out there trying to commute to work and put food on the table and your sticker may remind them of that.

    the whole "buy an american car" is misplaced anyway... I actually momentarily considered buying a Ford Fusion a couple of years ago because I like the way they look and I figured.. "hell, give an american a job..".

    Not so fast.. the Fusion? Built in Mexico. So... there are a LOT of "foreign" cars built in America and a LOT of "American" cars built elsewhere.. Why would I reward Ford for sending the jobs to Mexico? And btw, my Mom was just offered a job by Honda right here in Indiana.

    They should be angry at the big three for not being able to keep up with the japanese on quality and fuel efficiency or the Germans on style and sophistication. Don't be angry at the consumer. Hell, it's not even like Walmart.. we're not buying these cause they're cheaper! We're buying them because they are a superior product to ANY car made by the big three... (big American three that is)

    ......surf naked................don't pee in the sea............my other car is a pos.....actaully bumper stickers kill the paint and look trashy IMO..............

    Speaking of stupid stickers,
    I keep seeing those annoying "My child is an honor student at DumbCluck Elementary".
    "My child is a roll model at PerfectSchool"
    "My child graduated with honors at whocaresCollege"
    "My kid can do no wrong, except at home.."

    So I'm much happier lately, since I saw a sticker boasting....

    "Oh yeah... My Kid beat up your honor student."

    I've been trying to track down the classic "Eat My Voltage" sticker. We had one on our original '01 Prius and always thought about tracking down another sticker after we sold the '01.

    KISS MY PRIUS OPEC

    would be enjoyed by many and not be offensive even to drivers of large gas guzzling SUVs
