I ordered a Black (202) fin and just received a Grey Metallic 1G3 in the mail. I emailed Prius Chat and I am waiting for a response. This is frustrating given I will likely have to wait for a new one to be shipped (another 4 week lead time!!!). Also I went to VisualGarage.com and found it $5 dollars cheaper than Prius Chat...

To let the rest of us know there are complaints out there. Valid complaint, it would appear, if you believe the OPs story and it was the mistake of Prius Chat Shop. Haven't I heard others complain they don't respond to email ?
Ok, I agree with shipping included the price is better. My "vent" is the wrong part/pant code was shipped and given the lead time on Prius Chat I will have to wait for resolution and re-order/shipment.
I would hope that you would get some type of priority over the orders after you. But mistakes happen.
look on the box for who the item was shipped from, as PriusChat is mostly a middle-man who takes your order and then orders it from their suppliers as a drop ship item. You might get a quicker turn around time if you contact the supplier directly to exchange the item.
You are correct that Prius Chat is a middle-man taking the order and then sending it to the supplier. The fin was shipped directly from Visual Garage so I sent them an email as well. The error either happened at Prius Chat or Visual and hopefully it will get resolved tomorrow.
I am not sure why, but I have not received a response from Prius Chat on my order issue. Maybe they are too busy taking new orders as they responded quickly to me when they were processing. Maybe they are behind? The web site was not not very helpful with respect to the RMA process. I sent the incorrect color fin back to Visual Garage yesterday with a letter enclosed so hopefully I will get a new fin that is black!
Still no response from Prius Chat. I sent another email to [email protected] as a follow-up. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get a response?
I still have not received the correct order Shark Fin (202 black). I just posted a paypal dispute this morning. Given the lack of order management/customer service, I cannot recommend ordering from Prius Chat. I may have saved $5 bucks - free shipping, but I have not received my order and trying to get customer service has not been good at all.
