I want to install a L.E.D. license plate (see below) but I want to know best place to grab 12v in the hatch lid. Thanks in advance
its in the trunk underneath the floor panel on the right side. Its easiest to get to if you remove the center floor and then lifting the center under floor storage bin out so that the it no longer overlaps it.
That's the battery, not what I thnk he is looking for. He want to get at the wires in the hatch door that supply current to the license plate light. BTW, metal, check to see if these things are legal. I was going to install them, and it turns out they are illegal in NY state.
The rear wiper should have an ignition switched 12 volt source. Look for a light blue wire at the wiper motor.
