Yep, my car was listed on the southeast inventory as coming to my dealership, but it has now instantly disappeared. It will be here June 24th... man i can't wait. MY FIRST NEW CAR.
For me it would depend on how far down I was on that list, especially if replacing a car getting very low mileage, LOL.
So... you used to be on a list... Did you get delisted... or enlisted... do you feel you were a victim of the commission of a crime when the car was sold to you, or did you feel the commission was well worth the wait while you were listed...
I'm getting my car this week, way before I thought I would. I'm extremely satisfied with the whole experience so far, not a victim of anything.
I'm high on the list and have gotten two calls now about package#6's that came in (I ordered a package 3, willing to go with a 4). I've only been waiting 13 days since I got on the waiting list. So, some dealers are decent.
Hi guys, first post... Anyway I put $1k "hold" on a super white pkg4. All I know is I'm #17 on "the list". So how do they get the car we put $ down for?... Do they trade amongst themselves or request/order that specific model from Toyota? Hey MsDaisy and Captain Fantastic... Where are you guys checking regional availability and is there a link for the Mid-Atlantic Northeast??? Thanks in advance
Mr. Practical, go to buyatoyota.com and enter your delear's name or whatever. Select, Prius and it will say how many vehicles are coming in your region. To see your dealer's allocation: (NOTE: this is not 100% accurate, my prius which is on its way, has popped up twice and then disappeared again and is now back) Click on Prius, and then DO NOT select a specific model (1220,1224) and on the right hand you will have a number usually in the hundreds... it shoudl say "LOOK AT INVENTORY" click it, and then it will say how many cars your dealer has allocated.
Meh, unfortunately for the NE it doesn't give regional inventory. I tried it using a SE location and it works. Oh well..... Thanks anyway.
I have recently put a deposit on a prius an fully expect a call in about 3- 4 months and paying Msrp is killing me and I may not get it but... A dealer from Queens NY emailed me with a hot bargain Black prius pck 5 sale price $32,014.00 I would rather walk ............
