You're just asking for a smartass answer with that question, so I'll just get it out of the way:

    You break your window.

Dammit, Danny! You know that was my line!!! :D

Sorry, m1j1tc0rn, I don't have the answer either.

Now that the smartasses are done, does anyone have a real answer for the guy (or gal)?

i understand the smartassery. sunny, friday, warm (at least here i san jose).
i'm thinking there's a GBS icon or something on the dash, but not sure. not to mention, i don't know what the function is if all it tells you that your window is broken.

It should set the alarm off as well.

I have the alarm installed and there is a small sticker on one of my windows pointing it out. There is an alarm light on the dashboard that flashing when I get into the car, before I start it, too.

However, I've not seen a Prius w/o the alarm to check if either of these are also on those models. Perhaps the alarm sticker refers to something else, and the blinking light is pointing out something different. :)

    From yg 2004-prius thread:

Testing instructions on the card that came with my car, reworded to be
    brief:
    1) Lock the car with the remote.
    2) Wait at least 30 seconds.
    3) With an open palm (and no jewelry or rings on your hand!) slap the
"A" pillar of your car. The "A" pillar is the part of the metal body
located at the end of the windshield.
    4) Alarm will sound for a minute; turn it off by using the unlock button
    on your remote.

The card warns to never test the alarm by actually hitting a window.

    from same source:

The sensor is under the steering wheel. Test it by sitting in
driver's seat and setting the alarm. Wait the 30 secs. until the red
LED on the dash starts blinking. Bang two empty tin cans together.
Alarm will sound. Tap Unlock on remote to silence alarm.

We got a package #3 without alarm or glass breakage sensor so we had them added by a local Toyota dealer. Our fobs had to be reprogrammed to include the alarm. All went well, though they had to consult with Toyota Technical Assistance and it took an extra half day. We were told that you can test whether the glass breakage sensor is working by setting the alarm then tapping lightly with a key or coin in the middle of the drivers window. The alarm will go off, flash the lights and sound the horn. It worked. By the way, we have since found that one of our dogs when left in the car momentarily (such as at the gas station when we go in to pay) will set off the alarm by jumping at the window from inside. She likes the attention it gets!

yes, AdminCoop, some lines are just irresistible.....

to tell if your window has been broken, walk slowly around the car, looking at the windows....
