CNN just reported that the national average gas price just hit $4.00 per gallon. We're paying $3.90 in N.C. So who wins the free tank of gas??
As I understand it, one of the 16 people who placed their bet on Sunday the 8th will be randomly selected to get the fill-up. I selected Saturday the 7th and Monday the 9th -- Dangit! BTW, you're about ready to hit a milestone yourself, Rangerdavid. Your next post will be your one-thousandth!
its $4.005. i think i bet on the 9th. since i thought they wouldnt adjust the price on a sunday! dang it. :frusty:
AAA announced at a little after 3 am EDT, Sunday, June 8 that gas hit $4 a gallon. But I'm sure that announcement must have been based on data compiled for Saturday, June 7. So notwithstanding some news reports, I think that Saturday, June 7 is the actual day that gas reached $4 a gallon.
