The NAV update/Recall

    Because you already have version 4.2....you stated that in this thread. What would you upgrade to?

    It is ver 4.2 but is having some of the same problems with routing that others have described. Would like to try an earlier version of the DVD to see if that corrected the problem.

    Two ideas then:

    1) Get an earlier version off ebay. There are several listed there currently, including 3.1, 3.2, and 4.1. If it winds up being relatively inexpensive and works for you, good deal. If neither of the above, you could always relist it on ebay.

    2) Befriend a service writer at your local dealer. Explain the problem you've been experiencing and that you're aware of the NAV update program. Ask the service writer if there's an older version (from an upgrade they did) that you can "just try out" before they send the disk back (or destroy it). If they have none, ask if it would be possible for them to call you the next time they do an upgrade.
