Hmm Im surprised that Im the first to notice that the article says that the Prius gets an average of 44 MPG... I do not know about all of you but over the last 1500 or so miles I have been averaging 49.4 MPG If I were to reset my MFD's calculated MPG average to how I now drive today I imagine my combined average would show at 55+ MPG...
OMG This is the same website that published as fact all the unsubstantiated complaints about the Prius that are still circulating! Too bad it had to be them. (If you want to read all the bull they published you can search it out. I won't even print a link to this site that preys on people who think it's consumerreports.org)
The new EPA is 48/45 and 46 combined, so not too far off, but much lower than what we all know can easily be achieved under decent conditions.
