Pine Mica Silver Prius Club

My mica green is coming 12/1/07 and I cannot wait.

Had to put in a 8-week advance order, but decided I'd had enough silver and needed to go green.

 

Got mine on 11/17. It's just wonderful! You can see a bit of the orange '03 Murano I traded in this pic.

 

Just joined the club today.

Had planned on picking up a 2008 Silver Pine Mica Prius Package #6 with a Bisque interior.

Opened the door after signing all of the paperwork and found a Grey interior.

Got a monetary adjustment from the dealer and drove her home.

I'm a member now......got mine on December 21, 2007, the Winter Solstice.

I hadn't seen this thread previously, it must have been 'buried' until now. I notice in the newbie forum that there are a handful of very recent Silver Pine Mica owners.

 

My SweetPea is having a birthday in June. She will be turning 2. I special ordered this color (spm). I just wouldn't have taken any other color. My son has the beige and my husband just got his Seaside Pearl a few months ago. I guess we are a Prius Family. The first 2 weeks of ownership I received so many compliments on the color I lost track. One women followed me into a gas station to get the name of the color lol. I still get a thrill out of driving it even after owning her for 2yrs.

 

The best color on the best car!! I also, have had many compliments on the color! Why do you think Toyota picked this color for their Prius brochures?

 

I am a member as of a week ago. It was my top choice and I was lucky enough to have it on the lot with 1 mile on it.

Count me in! Got mine Friday (Apr 4 08). I originally preferred different colors (none available anywhere in Florida) but this color is really starting to grow on me. Thinking of naming her Shrek (yeah, I know Shrek was a guy but the color is fitting).

 

Add me to the SPM member roster, too. I've had mine since January 26. Great car!!

 

Just got my plates after 3 months of DMV wait time.

 

To be honest, I didn't like any of the colors. Perhaps it was because I've owned to many cars with all the same colors over the years. But the green was available and now I think it was the right "choice". Great color.

 

Add me to the SPM list! I originally expected a silver Prius, but when a silver pine mica appeared instead, I liked it even more. And the driving experience is unmatched.

Im on the waiting list for "my" Silver Pine Mica.....If you hear of one in your area coming up for sale and not marked up above sticker price ..PLEASE let me know..Some dealers have stated that you can not order what you want in a car...some say you can...I sure hope so...Im hoping for the bisque leather versus the gray ... What color interiors have you seen on your Silver Pine Mica's? Everytime I see a Prius, I know mine is out there somewhere....maybe being built, maybe on a ship..anyone know how to figure out when it may come in? Count me in starting tomorrow (8/2/08) that is when I pick him up at the dealer.... I really did not have a choice on the color - it was a take it or someone else will deal -- so we took it. Had to wait a month for his arrival, but he is here. I have named him Gumby (Gumby was green if you recall the toy) and his middle name is Joe (after the salesman) "Gumby Joe". I got to visit him yesterday..... love his antenna and his little gearshift....

What is this I read about a backup alarm? Is that the default for a Prius? If so, I will have to figure how to turn that off.... any help on that matter?

 

I love my Silver Pine Mica.....great color, looks green in daylight and silver at night. Mine has the grey interior which is fine. I'm sure that the bisque would be nice as well.

Re the backup beeper, there are probably 20 or more threads about how to disable that, a fairly easy task. On these forums the search function is your friend. Give it a try.

 

I'm in.... I just got my Pine Mica Package#2 on 7/27/08 with Bisque interrior I love it. I got exactly what I ordered. Im looking for the perfect mats I'll probably have them custom made I cant seem to find ones I like. I plan on doing a few non drastic mods. I call mine the "electric bumper car" because of the antena and the turn radius LOL fits it perfectly. Im in SoCal are there any Prius car clubs?

 

You can count me in... just tipped over 1000 miles in mine after having it for about 3 weeks (had 2 road trips right away in it)
