Congrats on getting your car!! Bet you are happy. I'm about a week or so away from finally getting mine. Can't wait!
congrats on the car. when did you two order yours? i placed order on 5/21 and supposedly will have one on 6/10.
*jealous* I wanted a pine mica! Settled for metallic grey cause it was the last one in stock and hubby went gaga over it... lol
Congrats in your new car!!! I got mine today too... placed an order with deposit on 4/22... long wait.... but is all worth it! Already put 17 miles on... it is a dream come true... see ya! Super white, 2008 pak 2
Your wait is only 2 weeks? That is really fast. I, like a lot of people, started looking 2 weeks ago. I called a small a town dealership in Havre, MT last week and they had no waiting list and one on the way. Havre is a town of about 10,000 people and is 120 miles from the nearest population center. I must have called 20 other dealers and they all had 2 - 4 month waits. G
Congratulations on getting your Prius. I finally had a chance to drive one two weeks ago. I put a deposit on one at a dealership where a friend works. He told me we were #17 on the list and our wait would be 6-8 weeks. To our surprise he called last Saturday with one. Seaside Pearl with package #6, which is just perfect. You should have seen the people crawling on it while we were finalizing the sale, and the looks of envy in their eyes when we walked out and drove away in it. So far we have gotten about 50mpg in the first 100 miles.
I started looking for one in early March. The dealer didn't have any on the lot at the time. Before they actually ordered the one I wanted, they tried to do a dealer trade with their allocations coming in to find the one I wanted, but that didn't work out. So they finally put in an order for my Spectra blue pkg 5 on April 7. And it's just on the way here now.
Thanks! It was my first and last train ride for awhile. It was very strange I expected it to be more like flying. Long lines, security.. cramped seats. Instead it was exactly the opposite. Given the expense I would use the train more often if it went anywhere I needed to go. On a side note my new car came with the ties at 40psi all the way around. It is strange that the dealer would do that. Does anyone know why they recommend a couple lbs higher in front?
