Car Max has a 2008 Prius with 4K miles for $25,849. + TT&L. Looks like a non touring package 2. CarMax Car Detail Ouch! I suppose they can get that and eventually more for one of most in demand cars.
For those thinking the 2008 was bad..... I found a 2007 Prius base model in Driftwood Pearl with Bisque interior and 37,340 miles on the odometer... [I noticed that the vehicle came on the lot last Tuesday morning and pictures came up Wednesday or Thursday and the car is still available. With no lock button on the hatch, no rear camera and buttons for nav/phone, this is really a base model.] Cost of this vehicle at Ernie Palmer Toyota, in Jacksonville, FL? $25,991 Go figure. Search it out at dealership website and laugh...

I wish we had bought when we first looked in March. Today I got a 2008 former rental car (Package 2) 12,600 miles for $25,900. Classic silver. Love the car...hate the price. Dealer going to do some clean up on the exterior for "free" Also free car washes for life of ownership and free detailing once a year on my birthday. That's cool... Only other local option was 15-20 week wait and I hate to wait.
