Realistic Waitlist....How Long did you REALLY wait until your Prius arrived?

Ordered mine on 4/9/08 and got it 5/21/08. Was told by the dealer that it would be about 6 weeks of waiting. He was exactly right... how odd for the dealer to be right about something.

 

4 weeks, but worth it

 

I got mine in May 07 it was on the dealer lot. Had to drive to the next city to get it which was no big deal. I was lucky I did not have to wait for it and it was the color I wanted. (Silver Pine Mica)

I'm in Ottawa, Canada. I ordered and got a VIN for my car the same day; it was in port in Vancouver. I was told 12 days for delivery, but it now looks like 21 days.

Dealer expects it tomorrow and will have it ready for Thursday, I hope.

As I've mentioned in several threads, I'm convinced Toyota is limiting US shipments because they make less in US market. Our MSRP for a "Canadian base" is $29.5k. It's like a package #2 with some extra features and the Touring wheels and tires at least.
