Extended warranty was discontinued starting with 2006's. I have a 2005, so I have a couple more months on mine. They did come jump a dead 12V once, but otherwise, I've never needed them. Lienholder has the title until you pay off the note.
My dealer has free roadside assistance for one year, and two free oil changes per year for as long as you own the car. That's for all new car Toyota owners who buy from the dealership. Not just Prius.
i purchased the extended warranty on my 2007, and i definitely have roadside assistance. i recieved a letter saying i get it i got a small card with my vin # on it, the agreement # on it, and it says its valid until feb 2011 (4 years)
If you bought the vehicle with a loan, then the title was normally sent to the lienholder (the finance company, if Toyota, then Toyota has it) by the state. The lienholder will return to you after the loan is paid off. Or the title is in your possession, as it is in my case, even though you paid for the car with a loan. Except I kindly forwarded the title to my lienholder. ZC1
