Mobil 1 filters, I think that they are the best, but usually they are priced at about $12 just for the filter so I usually buy cheaper ones.

Thanks for the heads-up. I actually bought my 2x sets yesterday and was about to post here when I saw someone beat me to it. Not a bad deal. I got 10 qts of 0-w40 + 2x M-103 filters. They also work on my Camry, so even with the about 10K/1 year change interval that I do, they will not stay in my garage unused too long . With the 0-40 I might even try a longer interval as it is supposed to be a better oil and my Prius (unlike my Camry) does not seem to consume any oil. It is essentially like getting about 25% off on the oil and you get a free filter that otherwise costs about $10.

I got that deal a week ago. I use Mobil 1 15W-50 in my BMW motorcycle. Wal*Mart didn't have that grade, but I found that sale, and wound up with 5 quarts of the oil plus an oil filter for less money than 4 quarts would have cost. I picked up a filter for my '99 Civic. I'm sure the Mobil 1 filter is good, and reading the box it came in, it says it has a very high filtration rate, so no worries. Harry
Better. Toyota filters are made by Denso. The original factory filter is manufactured in Japan, the ones you buy at the dealer are manufactured in Thailand. The Denso's are very good filters, especially for the money. Mobil 1 filters are one of the very best on the market.
Page 8 of Autozone's circulars have them for $25.99 with a limit of 2 per customer. Just in time for my first oil change. :thumb: Oh! It's from May 29 thru June 25.
