exposed screw next to driver's foot rest?

    first post after lurking for some time. New owner of a 2008 Touring, package #6.

    I noticed yesterday when sitting in the passenger seat that next to the driver's footrest, there is an exposed screw.

    Should there be a plastic cover for that?

    They are all that way. No cover is provided.

    That screw is used to hold the panel on. There is no cover for it.
