I fly a lot and spend time in crowded parking lots. I do write down my location but have become dependent on holding the remote over my head while pushing the lock button to hear my car beep to find it. On my old Ford it honked the horn, on the Pruis it put out just a little beep. Is there a way to tie in the horn with the remote lock, ideally just the remote lock so I don't honk on the other functions tied to the beep. Always looking for my car...
Although I haven't pushed the panic button on my remote I'd imagine it honks the horn? If so could you just hit this button? This way you'd have a continual beacon to find your car (and annoy the heck out of others).
A silly idea I've been toying around with is to replace the antenna with one of those funky light up ones. The I was thinking of tying in the power for the light up antenna to the dome light. Then when I unlock the door, the dome light kicks in and the antenna lights up and then there would be a visual of where my car is... Just a thought...
