Obviously the main concern most people have with is the battery. So far have you guys experienced or heard about wide spread problems or the need of replacing the battery?

if you look in the 1st Generation Prius sub forum of this main forum, you will find a couple posts on batteries, including one in which I'm trying to determine the scope of any problems with batteries. So far, there have been very few responses, which either means very few batteries have been replaced, or just very few people have responded. But either way, I am leaning towards there being very few batteries that have been replaced, G1 or G2. It does not to be any where near as common as the naysayers and hybrid haters want to make you think. Your stats show you have a 2008--how come you are asking about a G1?
